The Milwaukee Theatre Standards

The Milwaukee Theatre Standards is a document generated in an effort to revolutionize and standardize expectations within the Milwaukee Theatre Community, in hopes to provide a safer and equitable environment for all. Members of the Milwaukee Theatre Alliance’s ‘Not in Our House Task Force’ met over the course of several months incorporating their unique thoughts and experiences, and implementing the wisdom from these documents and letters:

Open Forum Events

Four public discussions will be hosted by MTA over the month of April via Zoom, with hope that by June of 2021 the Alliance will have a final draft of the document usable for the 2021-22 year available to the Milwaukee theatre community. For the open forum meetings, the document will be split into 4 different sections and the Theatre Alliance welcomes all who attend to pre-read the section assigned to each meeting before attending and bring feedback for discussion. Anyone who has read the document is invited to voice any and all questions or concerns about The Milwaukee Theatre Standards.MTA will host open forums to gather feedback from the community it seeks to serve:

Pages 1-13, Saturday, April 3rd from 11am-12:30pm

Pages 14-26, Thursday, April 8th from 7:00-8:30pm

Pages 26-38, Monday, April 19th from 7pm-8:30pm

Pages 39-48, Saturday, April 24th from 11:00AM-12:30pm
